W.I.N
Portable proof for digital information.
The question
Can a digital artifact carry its own proof?
Handing someone a file normally means asking them to trust you, or asking them to trust a service that sits between you. Both are borrowed trust. The file itself says nothing about whether it is the file you sent.
W.I.N was built to remove the middle. The record travels with the file. Checking it does not require an account, an upload, or permission from Wise.Est.
What was built
A seal, a record, and a verifier that runs anywhere.
Technical evidence
One character changes, and the seal breaks.
Below is the verifier’s real output on the same document twice. In the second, the invoice total was edited from $1,000 to $9,000. Nothing else was touched.
Actual output from the tool, captured from a live check. Not an illustration.
What is real today
Claimed carefully, on purpose.
W.I.N proves
- This exact file existed in this state
- It was sealed by a specific key
- It has not changed since sealing
- It can be checked anywhere, by anyone
W.I.N does not prove
- That the content is true
- The signer’s real-world identity
- That this is the first copy in the world
- That local time is globally authoritative
